Beginner Knitting

Want to learn a creative art? Meditative craft? Post-apocalyptic lifeskill? Knitting is your answer!
In this 2 hour class you will learn the fundamentals of knitting including pattern reading basics, casting on, basic knit stitch, and casting off, and how to make yarn from a t-shirt. At the end of the class you will have a finished t-shirt yarn pot holder and a set of size 10 knitting needles to take home.
Class runs 2 hours. Recommended for ages 8+. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. At least one adult per 4 children under 12. Adult does NOT need to purchase a ticket to supervise child participant(s).

Learn the basics of needle felting by creating your own wool scent diffusers. Learn to make a cute beehive as well as a 2-ball hanger. Wool is an incredible fiber and simply adding a few drops of essential oil to your diffusers provides an eco-friendly way to Freshen any space from a bathroom to an office, car, or laundry hamper.
You will make two different kinds of diffusers using various needle felting techniques. Your instructor, Jessica, will be there to provide guidance and technical assistance for every step including the secret to getting the perfect shape on your designs. You will also be able to choose from an array of different essential oil scents to add to your creations.
All tools and materials will be provided including finger guards.The felting needles used during the class have not been used previously and yours to keep. A 2 ball hanger is included in the class price, and additional balls can be purchased for $2 each.
Recommended for ages 10+. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. At least one adult per 4 children under 12. Adult does not need to purchase a ticket to supervise child participants.

Create a dazzling, eco-friendly mosaic night light using colorful plastic scraps for a whimsical touch to any corner. Your instructor, Jessica, will provide all the necessary tools and guidance including hand-made, clear plastic pieces made from discarded, unrecyclable #6 containers colored with alcohol ink.
Choose from a variety of wood shapes. You will glue and grout your shape and add fairy lights that shine bright for 50,000 hours before needing a battery change. No glass cutting required. Compostable gloves will be provided for use while grouting.

Succulent Terrerium

Create your own tiny oasis using a variety of plants, decorative rocks and other eco-friendly embellishments. You will choose your vessel from an array of second-hand finds and plant up to 3 succulents. You will even be provided additional materials to add nutrients to the soil. Second-hand figures, beads, and Shrinky Dinks will be available to add a touch of whimsy to your creation.
Class runs 2 hours. Recommended for ages 8+. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. At least one adult per 4 children under 12. Adult does NOT need to purchase a ticket to supervise child participant(s).

Spring Punch Cards

Set your intentions for the season by making your own set of punch cards!. Any goal or habit you want to track can be made into a fun, colorful card. Want to read 10 books this spring? Go to 6 baseball games? Maybe get to the gym twice a week? Put it on a card and punch each achievement until it is completed. The best part is setting a reward for each achievement and treating yourself for all your hard work.
All materials are provided including pre-cut cards, stencils, stamps, markers and colored pencils. You can even purchase and decorate a discounted hole punch to keep with your cards.

Learn the basics of needle felting by decorating your own wool dryer balls. Wool is an incredible fiber and simply adding 2 felted balls to your dryer loads provides an eco-friendly way to soften your fabrics and reduce static and drying time.
Your instructor, Jessica, will be there to provide guidance and technical assistance for every step including the secret to getting the perfect shape on your designs. You will also be able to choose from an array of different essential oil scents to add to your creations. After this 2 hour party, you will have 2 embellished dryer balls to take home that are good for over 1000 dryer cycles.
All tools and materials will be provided including finger guards. 2 dryer balls are included in the class price, and additional balls can be purchased for $5 each. 3 felting Needles are included to take home.
