Create your own tiny cemetery using a variety of plants, second-hand halloween toys and other eco-friendly embellishments including hand-made gravestones. You will choose your vessel from an array of second-hand finds and plant up to 3 succulents. You will even be provided additional materials to add nutrients to the soil. Second-hand figures, beads, and Shrinky Dinks will be available to add the perfect spooky touch to your creation. The gravestones are made from up-cycled styrofoam and hand painted.
Class runs 2 hours. Recommended for ages 8+. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. At least one adult per 4 children under 12. Adult does NOT need to purchase a ticket to supervise child participant(s).

Want to learn a creative art? Meditative craft? Post-apocalyptic lifeskill? Knitting is your answer!
In this 2 hour class you will learn the fundamentals of knitting including pattern reading basics, casting on, basic knit stitch, and casting off, and how to make yarn from a t-shirt. At the end of the class you will have a finished t-shirt yarn pot holder. Wooden size 15 knitting needles available for purchase for $5.

Intermediate Knitting

Already know the basics, but ready to take it to the next level? In this 2 hour class you will learn the intermediate knitting skills including purl stitch, rib stitch, knitting on circular needles, and basic cables. At the end of the class you will have started a cotton washcloth to complete at home. All necessary yarn, a set of size 8 straight knitting needles, a size 8 double sided needle and set of 6 stitch markers will be provided for use during the class and are available for purchase for $5.
Participants must already be proficient enough to cast-on, complete a knit stitch, and cast-off to be successful in this class

Your instructor, Jessica, will provide all the necessary tools and guidance including hand-made, clear plastic pieces made from discarded, unrecyclable #6 containers colored with alcohol ink.
Choose from a variety of wood shapes. You will glue and grout your shape and add fairy lights that shine bright for 50,000 hours before needing a battery change. No glass cutting required. Compostable gloves will be provided for use while grouting.

Learn the basics of needle felting by creating your own wool scent diffusers. Learn to make a cute pumpkin and ghostie. Wool is an incredible fiber and simply adding a few drops of essential oil to your diffusers provides an eco-friendly way to Freshen any space from a bathroom to an office, car, or laundry hamper.
You will make two different kinds of diffusers using various needle felting techniques. Your instructor, Jessica, will be there to provide guidance and technical assistance for every step including the secret to getting the perfect shape on your designs. You will also be able to choose from an array of different essential oil scents to add to your creations.
All tools and materials will be provided including finger guards. The felting needles used during the class have not been used previously and yours to keep.
Recommended for ages 10+. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. At least one adult per 4 children under 12. Adult does not need to purchase a ticket to supervise child participants.

Join the party and learn to make Shrinky Dinks using recycled plastic!
In this two hour workshop you will learn the basics to create shrinky dinks using alcohol ink, Sharpie and colored pencil to make your own unique ornaments. No drawing talent required! Your instructor will guide you through every step and share her hard-earned tips and tricks for getting the best results. Use some of the basic shapes and templates provided to trace or you can draw whatever you like. The only limit is your imagination! The best part is that you get to watch your creation shrink right in front of your eyes.
All of the tools and findings will be provided.
